Von Ins Bookkeeping Service, Inc. was established in 1997 by Douglas and Susan Von Ins. Bonnie Nesbit, Susan's daughter, joined the business in 1999. In 2004, we moved into our present location at 2845 South Main Street in Elkhart. A second office is located at 17855 CR 14 just east of SR 15 and a mile north of the US 20 Bypass.
Currently, we are providing services for approximately forty businesses in the counties of Elkhart, St. Joseph, Kosciusko, LaGrange, as well as southern Michigan. We work with some of our clients on a daily basis and others on a weekly basis according to their individual business needs. We process purchases, payables, receivables, payroll and prepare all sales taxes and payroll taxes as well as 1099's and W-2's at year end. We provide you with detailed reports reflecting daily or weekly activity on cash flow, invoices billed to your customers, and upcoming bills to be paid. We then are able to give you accurate monthly financial statements for managerial purposes. We assist with and provide Inventory and Sales Analysis as well as Budget Setting and monitoring for those business owners who find this beneficial. For Contractors, we also provide Job Costing and Tracking which gives an accurate profit picture for each job.
We provide you with all of these different services while at the same time allowing you the freedom to maintain control of your checkbook, decide which vendors you'd like to pay on a weekly basis, and sign the checks we issue for you before mailing, if you so desire. We find that many of our clients prefer to maintain this "hands-on" approach to management but feel an overwhelming sense of relief that the rest of the details are handled by us. You can rest assured that we will always work with you on any preference you may have.
